This edition features 'Rewind' by Debby Raymond, 'Circadian Rhythm' by Annabella Buckley, 'Sem Medo' by Daniel Tanure Benicio, 'A Giant's World' by Chantelle Herd, and 'Fifteen Minutes' by an anonymous writer on the back cover.

Talent Implied's Story
Talent Implied: New Writing from Griffith is an annual collection of the best creative writing produced in the School of Humanities Languages and Social Science at Griffith University. The brainchild of Associate Professor in Creative Writing Sally Breen, Talent Implied, is produced in the capstone creative writing course Editing for Publication designed to simulate a professional publishing environment. Student editors are matched with student authors and they work together to bring the works to publication standard. The pieces are resubmitted and the student editors decide by voting poll which works should advance to the collection.

What results is Talent Implied: New Writing from Griffith, an inspiring and diverse collection of creative work featuring a range of genres, styles and voices. From otherworldly and highly imaginative works of fiction, to moving and personal essays and vivid, sensorial poetry the collection continues to showcase the extraordinary talent of young and emerging writers.
